Detection of Spectrum Hole from N-number of Primary Users using Gencluster Algorithm

Abstract

A hybrid form of Genetic algorithm and Modified K-Means cluster algorithm to form as Gencluster to detect spectrum hole among n-number of primary users (PUs) present in a cooperative spectrum sensing model. Fusion center (FC), applies genetic algorithm to identify the best chromosome which contains many PUs cluster centers and applying Modified K-Means cluster algorithm to identify the cluster with PU vacant spectrum with high accuracy, maximum probability of detection with minimum false alarm rate is achieved. The graphical representation of performance metric of the system model shows 95% accuracy with 98.63% detection probability and 1.36% false alarm probability.
